The Secretariat to the Special National Coordination Committee (SNCC) on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Brunei Darussalam participated in the Environmental Regulatory Roadshow, organized by Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) Sdn. Bhd. The event provided a platform to highlight Brunei’s environmental regulations, sustainability initiatives, and policy strategies that align with Wawasan Brunei 2035 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The roadshow featured discussions, exhibitions, and knowledge-sharing sessions that underscored the critical role of regulatory frameworks, corporate responsibility, and community engagement in advancing environmental sustainability. Key topics included climate action, waste management, energy efficiency, and responsible resource utilization, demonstrating how Brunei is strengthening its environmental governance to meet both national and global sustainability targets.

Through its participation, the SNCC on SDGs reaffirmed the country’s commitment to sustainable development and the importance of collaboration between government, private sector, and civil society. By fostering multi-stakeholder engagement, the roadshow served as a valuable opportunity to drive collective action toward a greener, more sustainable future for Brunei Darussalam and beyond.
